Here in Florida, we do our best to celebrate the season, but it is a bit of a stretch. Even though my son can’t fully experience fall, I’ve made a list of things that we can do even here in Florida to celebrate the
We have done this a couple of times, and my son has loved them!
Buy a Pumpkin
Florida gets pumpkins shipped to us. And churches and schools set up pallets full of pumpkins in their front lawns. It’s not quite the same as a pumpkin patch, but it is still fun to pick out a pumpkin.
Attend a Fall Festival
The churches and schools have fall festivals throughout the end of October through the beginning of November. We are looking forward to dressing up Caleb and taking him to one of these this year.
Eat Pumpkin Foods
Since Caleb has never had pumpkin, it will be fun to introduce him. And of course I will enjoy some pumpkin spice creamer in my coffee!
I haven’t done any finger painting with Caleb yet, I think painting a pumpkin will be a great way to start.
When Caleb and I are outside, he usually ends up with a fist full of leaves. They are his little treasures!
What are you looking forward to doing this fall?
