There are certain cleaning products that I used to purchase regularly but don’t anymore.
The alternatives to these products save our family money.
-I currently use wool dryer balls* instead. So far they have worked really well. They are suppose to last up to 1-2 years.
Windex or any store bought glass cleaner
-I use microfiber cloths* instead! One damp cloth removes the dirt, and a second dry cloth wipes the window clean. I LOVE them!
– I’ve been making my own detergent for years now, and it works just as well (if not better) than the store bought detergents!
Lysol Disinfecting Wipes
-A simple solution of 2 parts water and 1 part vinegar in my squirt bottle works just fine.
Swiffer Dust and Mop Cloths
-I love using my reusable microfiber cloths for dusting and mopping my floor. It saves us so much money since I don’t have to purchase the disposable cloths anymore! You can see what mop I use in this post: How I Save Time Cleaning.
I hope this has given you some inspiration to save money on cleaning products too!
In the VIDEO, I shared a little more detail about each of my cleaning hacks and you get to see me using the items in action too!
