The Best Vertical Weekly Planners for 2024

Sharing is caring!

There are so many planners to choose from and a lot of them are pricey. But over the past 9 years I’ve tried out some budget friendly planners that I highly recommend.

My favorite planner is the Goals and Visions Planner by Bloom, but there are a couple of other vertical planners that are really great too.

I love using a planner that has a vertical layout. And I know a lot of women prefer the vertical layout because every time I show my planner, I get asked where I found it.

So today I’m sharing my favorite budget friendly planners with vertical layouts that I have used.

They are all located on Amazon, but you can also find some of these planners at stores like Walmart, Target, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels.

TF Publishing Large Daily and Weekly Planner

This is a big planner (8.5×11 inches) with plenty of room to write.

One of the down sides is all of the monthly calendars are at the beginning of the planner rather than in between the weekly planners.

However, the layout is perfect for planning multiple things each day and has lots of room for goals and habit tracking.

The monthly spread includes big spaces for each day that allow for multiple things to be written.

It also includes a section for monthly goals, and lists titled “Top Tasks”, another list titled “Highlights”, and a third section labeled “This and That”.

The weekly spreads begin on Monday and all the weekdays include 3 vertical sections. At the bottom of each column is a place for adding a list.

Saturday and Sunday share a column and have a smaller place for writing.

The weekly spread also includes a section for weekly goals and a daily habit tracker for up to 4 habits.

This is a basic planner that includes the following:

  • 12 months
  • 2024-2025 overview
  • weekly spreads
  • 2 pages of stickers

It’s really affordable too. Right now The TF Publishing Weekly Monthly Planner (my affiliate link) is only $19.99 on Amazon.

This is my planner from 2022 and the the current version has the same layout.

The Happy Planner Vertical Layout

This planner has a really pretty cover and divider pages. However each page is very blank and has few embellishments.

These planners are mostly for people who like using stickers and adding their own colors and flare.

Each page can be taken out and rearranged because of the center discs. This also means more pages can be added to the planner if you want to.

However those discs are what I found a little annoying when writing in this planner. Of course, that’s just my personal opinion!

The weekly spread includes a blank column for notes and 7 columns for each day. All of the days include 3-5 divided boxes depending on which one you get.

The weekly spread starts on Sunday and ends with Saturday.

Before each month, there is a page for planning with sections labeled “Priorities”, “Important”, and “Take Notes”.

There is also a tabbed divider with a beautiful divider page. There is not a lot of extra in this planner, so that you can customize it by adding more pages, stickers, and embellishments.

The monthly spread includes a narrow column for notes next to the monthly calendar spread.

This Happy planner (affiliate link) is currently $29.99 on Amazon.

Here is what is included:

  • 12 months
  • 12 beautiful dividers with quotes
  • 12 monthly planning/goals pages
  • 2023/2024 overview
  • Notes page
  • dated weekly spreads
  • monthly tabs

Bloom Goal and Vision Planner

I love this planner! It’s a little smaller than the TF planner so it’s easy to throw in my purse if needed. It’s also really pretty.

There are lots of extras to this planner for planning goals and managing your life. You get a lot in this one.

The only thing I don’t like is how narrow the columns are on the daily planning sections.

The monthly spread is basic but includes a section for notes. The weekends are shaded which is nice for planning.

Each month includes inspirational quotes which is a nice touch.

Before the monthly spread are simple dividing pages with short quotes. There is also a page for each month’s visions.

There is a section to write out monthly goals for the following categories: personal growth, relationships, health and fitness, family and home, work/school, finances, fun and adventure.

Each category has space to write down steps to take in order to reach the goal.

This vertical planner includes the following:

  • 2024/2025 overview
  • Life analyzing page
  • page of values
  • joy and happiness page
  • goals for the year
  • vision page
  • My ideal week template
  • Weekly schedule template
  • monthly spending summary
  • monthly bill payment tracker
  • habit tracker
  • 7 notes pages
  • monthly highlights
  • Yearly reflection page
  • Important dates for the year
  • 12 months
  • 12 monthly goals planning
  • 12 divider pages
  • monthly tabs
  • dated weekly pages

The Bloom Goals and Vision Planner (affiliate link) a great planner that is currently only $32.99.

I’ve found these 3 to be the best vertical planners and are linked in my Amazon storefront. This is my affiliate link.
