We’ve been members at Costco for the past 6 years.
At first I wasn’t really sure what to purchase there. We mostly got the membership to be able to purchase gasoline there.
But now that I’ve had time to really search the store and try many things, I have a go-to list that I always purchase at Costco.
All of these items are the same price or cheaper than Wal-mart or Aldi which are my other go-to stores.
I try to eat a healthy diet with little processed foods.
Dairy
- milk
- butter
- eggs
- string cheese
- Greek yogurt
- sour cream

Frozen
We use the frozen fruit mostly in smoothies.
But they are great as a side dish when we are out of fresh produce.
I also like to add frozen berries to my Greek yogurt.
- wild blueberries
- strawberries
- broccoli florets
- mixed vegetables

Meat
I always pick up a rotisseri chicken because it’s so convenient to have for lunches.
For the bigger packages of meat, I always divide into smaller portions and freeze.
- bacon
- rotisseri chicken
- ground beef
- chuck roast
- boneless skinless chicken breast
Produce
Their produce is always fresh, which I really appreciate.
- blueberries
- strawberries
- blackberries
- raspberries
- sweet potatoes
- red potatoes
- Idaho Potatoes
- bananas
- apples
- oranges
- mini cucumbers
- exotic fruit: dragon fruit, leches
- salad kits
- spinach
Pantry
Costco has some great wholesome pantry staples that aren’t full of chemicals, dyes, corn syrup or seed oils.
I’m thankful I can get these for a good price and feel good about feeding them to my family.
- bottles of water
- natural peanut butter
- organic honey
- unbleached King Arthur all-purpose flour
- white sugar
- pure vanilla
- extra virgin olive oil
- canned vegetables
- applesauce cups
