I love all holidays, but Easter has always been a favorite of mine. Now that I’m a mom, it is even more fun to create Easter baskets. Here are a ton of Easter basket ideas for toddler boys!
Last year we gave our son an Easter basket when he was 10 months old. He absolutely loved it, and it was so much fun watching him get excited about each item.

He pulled out his gifts one-by-one from his basket and examined each one.
This year he is a 22 month old toddler and very active, so I added a few things to his Easter basket that he and I can play with outside this spring.
He has SO many indoor toys that I didn’t want to buy him more toys that he probably wouldn’t play with a whole lot.

This year, instead of an Easter basket, I bought my toddler boy a sand bucket and shovel and filled it with all his Easter goodies. This one came from Hobby Lobby.
It was nicer and a little more durable than the ones at Dollar Tree, but I’m sure theirs would work just fine.
The bucket is his main gift, and I’m sure we will use it this summer at the beach!
Inside his Easter basket, I stuck in an Easter flap book, Where are Baby’s Easter Eggs?. Technically it is a baby book, but my son loves the books with flaps!
I picked up some bubbles and sidewalk chalk at Dollar Tree.
There were a good variety of bubbles at the Dollar Tree, and I really like that the sidewalk chalk comes with a holder. I remember from my years as a teacher that sidewalk chalk can be so messy!

The day before Easter, I’ll fill a few plastic eggs with the best jelly beans ever: Starburst Jelly beans! 🙂
I think some of the best candy comes out at Easter!
Does anyone else agree? Ha!
My other favorite Easter candy is Reese’s eggs, the whopper eggs, and the milky way Cadbury eggs. I think I need to make another trip to the store and gets some candy for me! ahem.Â

That’s perfect! I always like to make my baskets too. The personalization is always nice!
The sand bucket will come in handy at the beach this summer.
We are looking forward to letting my son play with the bucket this summer! I think he will get a lot of use out of it. The Easter basket you are making out of candy for your grandson looks like a fun way to do Easter baskets too!
Cute ideas! I am putting bubbles in Miss. E’s basket this year, too! She loves bubbles!!
Bubbles are great for entertaining toddlers, aren’t they? I always forget to buy bubbles just for fun, so an Easter basket was a great reason to get some. 🙂
