Valentine’s Day is such a fun holiday. It’s not only a day to celebrate a romantic relationship, but also a day to celebrate love in general.
And the best place to look for examples and definitions of love is from the creator of love: God. I loved reading an advent Bible verse with my kids each day in December when we counted down to Christmas.
So this Valentine’s season I want to make sure I focus my family’s attention on the love that is found in the Bible.
That’s why I put together a list of Bible verses for Valentine’s Day that I can read during February. I hope you are able to use these Valentine verses as well.
Of course, the Bible was written before Valentine’s Day became a holiday. However, the Bible has a lot to say about love.
It is full of examples and descriptions of God’s love for you and me. It also shares lots of Bible verses about how to love others. Sometimes these verses are referred to as “one another” verses.
If you’re sending a card to someone this Valentines Day, it’s always a great idea to write out related a Valentine scripture in the card.
